Children's Education Program Manager

Reporting to the Director of Education Programs, the Children’s Education Program Manager is part of an eight-person staff team that coordinates, develops, manages and evaluates New York Cares’ volunteer education programs.

This position manages 50 to 60 ongoing volunteer programs that serve children and teens in transitional housing facilities, public schools and community centers. The manager’s portfolio focuses on reading, writing and career exploration. The manager is expected to expand programming by identifying new project sites and developing new program models.


Graphic Design and Production Manager

New York Cares is seeking a creative, flexible designer with expertise in managing the production process. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Director, the Design and Production Manager designs, manages, art directs and produces communication materials that clearly speak to New York Cares’ targeted audiences, maintains the organization’s brand, stays within predetermined budgets and meets designated deadlines.


Marketing Communications Manager

New York Cares is seeking an energetic and all around marketing communications specialist, with a flair for design. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Marketing Communications Manager will implement elements of New York Cares' annual communications plan. This includes managing the production and trafficking of all marketing collateral, including overseeing freelance designers, art production vendors and outside vendors and supervising specified marketing campaigns.



New Media Intern

The Marketing and Communications Department produces a diverse range of materials that are essential to the organization's outreach, fundraising and image. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the New Media Intern will assist in efforts to monitor and maintain the New York Cares brand on the web, including social networking initiatives, research into digital media trends and strategies, the maintenance of our website, and the production of a monthly online traffic report.
