Give New York City a good spring greening for
New York Cares Day Spring: Saturday, April 21, 2012.
Join 5,000 of your fellow New Yorkers on Saturday, April 21st as we get our hands dirty, and clean up the city for New York Cares Day Spring. This important day of service - formerly known as Hands on New York Day - will, for the first time, focus on our city's waterfront. We're looking to engage volunteers along 10 miles of coastline to make them cleaner and more accessible, in addition to planting, mulching, composting, and painting in parks around the city.
